We conduct regular research activities to help improve our school EdTech products and services. We love to speak to people who work in schools in any capacity.

Get paid for your opinion

Sessions usually range from 30-60 minutes, are remote/online, and as a token of our appreciation, you’ll be compensated in the range of AUD $40-$120, depending on the session length and research type. Your incentive will be issued via a Visa prepaid e-card shortly after the session.

What's the process?

  1. We start a project and determine what type of participants we need (such as teachers, school leaders, specialists and administration staff).
  2. You are selected and agree to participate.
  3. We send you some details to select the best date and time that works for you.
  4. In the lead-up to your session, we’ll send you more details on where to connect and join on a video link and ask you to read and agree to our privacy consent form.
  5. On the day, and at your allocated time, you join the session; we ask some questions, get you to look at a demo website and provide feedback.
  6. We take lots of notes.
  7. We’ll email you a link to access your Visa e-card within 1 – 2 business days after the session.
  8. We summarise all your feedback and pass it on (anonymously) to the Product team.

FAQs

Do I have to be using one of your products to qualify?

No, sometimes we need to speak to people specifically using our products and other times they can be anyone from the education industry.

What information and personal details will be shared?

We aim to keep you as anonymous as possible. We do not need to know which school you work for; any research findings or notes shared with the team are made personally unidentifiable. During the signup process, we ask for your contact details so that we can get in touch when conducting research. We will never pass your details on to a third party. All our data collection is managed per our Privacy Policy.

Will my details be passed onto your marketing team?

No. Our purpose is to conduct research to help improve our products and services only. Your feedback and data will only be used for the purposes we have outlined here.

If I participate in a research session, when will I be paid?

We aim to issue e-cards within 1-2 business days of your session.

How often do you run sessions?

It can vary depending on the current projects but as a general rule, we are speaking to people every 3-4 weeks.

I'm not located in Australia, can I still participate?

Absolutely! Education Horizons works with schools around the globe and has main development centres in the Northern and Southern hemispheres. If you are selected to participate, we’ll work with you to find the most suitable session date and time which works with your timezone.
