Zunia’s Staff Cover feature allows administrators or educators to instantly assign a substitute teacher from a list of available staff. Using timetable intelligence, Zunia shows a drop down list of free teachers who can step in, ensuring a seamless process without guesswork 

The process is simple:

• Navigate to the teacher’s timetable and click the class needing a substitute teacher
• Choose the “change teacher” option
• Choose from the list of available relief teachers
• If needed, change the room
• Save the changes and the timetable updates automatically

When your timetable updates instantly, the substituted class is greyed out and marked with a swap symbol for easy identification. The substitute teacher's schedule also updates, ensuring clarity for all staff members

Need a Room Change? No Problem 

Classroom availability can also present challenges. If a class needs to be relocated due to maintenance, scheduling conflicts or other factors, Zunia makes it easy to assign a new room. Simply select the “change classroom” option, choose an available space and update the schedule. The assigned teacher will see the updated schedule in their timetable instantly, ensuring a smooth transition

Mistakes?Easily Fixed 

Accidentally assigned the wrong teacher or room? No worries. Zunia allows quick edits and even lets users revert the change entirely, restoring the class to its original teacher and location. This flexibility reduces administrative stress and keeps timetables accurate
